Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists! They love to share lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!
Each week they post a new Top Ten list that one of the bloggers over at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. All they ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND add your name to the Linky widget so that everyone can check out other bloggers lists! If you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment. Have fun with it! It’s a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers.

This week’s topic is Settings/Worlds, so I chose settings from some of my favorite books that I loved so much I wanted to visit. Here’s my list!
__________________________________________________________________________________

1. Anywhere from The Lord Of The Rings series. The Shire and Rivendell are fantastical places.

2. Hogwarts from the Harry Potter Series. Because it’s amazing.

3. The Districts from The Hunger Games Series, including The Capitol. It would be an intriguing look into a dystopian world.
4. Barron’s Books And Baubles from The Fever Series. I mean…it’s a bookstore. And Jericho Barrons lives there. Can’t get much better.

5. Forks & LaPush from Twilight. Don’t knock it until you’ve been there. This is one of my actual photos, shot from Third Beach, La Push.

6. The World of Faerie, The Village of Wall and Stormhold from Stardust by Neil Gaiman

7. The Moors of Wuthering Heights. I can’t hear the word ‘moor’ without thinking of Heathclif and Cathy.

.

8. Scotland, through the eyes of Claire from The Outlander. Now that I see there is an Outlander Tour, I might just have to plan a trip to Scotland.
8. Bram Stoker’s Europe. Creepy, but cool.

9. Jane Austen’s England. Can you imagine???
10. And last, but certainly not least, Roman Manor – Training Grounds – on The Isle of Man, from my own WIP, The Awakening of Katherine Shaw. 😉
